Richard McLane, Design Director at Bisca acknowledges this new trend: “White painted bespoke plaster balustrades, soffits and scotia are very popular at the moment, quite possibly as a result of the resurgence of Georgian style architecture. They can add a wonderfully sculptural shape to a room, like a work of art.”
Solid Wood Floor For New Arts Building
The American School in London’s new arts building, designed by Walters & Cohen, has been fitted with Junckers’ solid wood floors in several areas. The final stage of a ten-year development plan, the architects designed dedicated spaces of generous proportions using high quality materials, including a gallery and exhibition space on the ground floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and Junckers’ premium Oak Boulevard flooring.
