Part of the collective that is Faena Miami Beach, the Faena Hotel Miami Beach and Tierra Santa Healing House has a claim to fame with their founders. The brain child of Alan Faena, Argentinian hotelier and property developer, Faena Hotel Miami Beach is the redevelopment of the formally known Saxony Hotel. Hollywood power couple Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin oversaw the restoration and their touch is easy to recognise. Spread throughout an entire floor of the Miami Beach hotel, the Tierra Santa Healing House is inspired by Faena’s beach house on the coast of Uruguay.
Conceived as an oasis of relaxed rejuvenation, the spa is colourful yet modest; a Haman features a central bed made of amazonite stone, whilst the couples’ treatment room includes an intricate floral design over the walls. Within the spa are five multi-purpose treatment rooms as well as two oceanfront treatment suites which boast outdoor terraces and magnificent views of Miami Beach and the Atlantic. South American inspired treatments range from acupuncture to colour therapy; it is clear Faena and his collaborative team have thought of all the details.
