The Crestron range of CLEDs are the authentic LEDs behind Crestrons renowned lighting range, replicating the traditional halogen fixture in terms of colour rendering index CRI (Colour Rendering Index), performance and colour temperature.

Guaranteed Smooth Dimming
Crestrons CLED range dims gradually from 100-0%, its dimming curve mimicking the performance of a halogen downlight. Even at low levels it continues to warm when dimmed which is made possible by using Crestrons favoured dimmable driver in affiliation with Crestron DIN-1DIMU4, CLXI-1DELV4 or CLWI-DIMUEX (wireless solution for retrofit). The Crestron CLED range are supplied complete with a mains dimmable driver with the additional option of a DALI driver upon request.

Guaranteed Colour Consistency
Crestron guarantee the colour consistency of CLED using an exceptionally precise binning process. This process is decisive to 1/16th of a bin (within 1.5 MacAdam Ellipse); resulting in a more precise colour temperature. The variation of the binning is so minute that the human eye cannot determine any differences between any Crestron CLED downlights.

CRI (Colour Rendering Index)
Crestron CLED luminaires have a considerably high CRI of 86. The exceptional colour rendering index of the Crestron luminaire creates the illusion of objects appearing similar in colour to the way they appear in natural daylight.

Thermal Management
The heat sink controls in the Crestron CLEDs have been designed specifically to operate the temperature of the luminaire to ensure its performance, reliability and lifespan. The thermal management of LED lights is extremely important because if the LED is driven above its recommended temperature it will produce less light and deteriorate more rapidly over time, therefore considerably reducing its projected lifespan. If the LED is expected to last for at least 70,000 hours it is essential for the luminaire's thermal management to keep the LED at the appropriate temperature.

Crestron CLED luminaires have a 70,000 hour lifespan and warranty and a 2 year warranty on PSU.
