Lympstone Manor | Luxury on the Estuary
Lympstone Manor is the Georgian Grade II listed Manor that overlooks the Exe estuary. Originally known as Courtlands House it began as a farmhouse but subsequently in the 1760’s was taken over by the banking dynasty Barings and extended into a luxurious home.
5 Star City Cool – The NED Hotel
The Ned Hotel, is a new iconic hotel in the heart of the City. Situated in the former Midland bank headquarters, it was transformed into a 252-bedroom hotel with a member’s club and 9 restaurants, by partners Soho House & Co and US Sydell Group. The 11-storey, grade-1 listed building was designed by famous architect Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924. In recognition of his work and status the hotel was called The Ned after him.
Refurbishment of Iconic Gleneagles Hotel
In the latest issue of Sleeper, the global hotel design magazine, they review and speak to the design teams behind the refurbishment of the world renowned Gleneagles Hotel. London’s Coolest Hotel utilises Wandsworth Bespoke Service
The Ned Hotel, which has been described as the coolest new hotel in London, has recently opened. Sheppard Robson Architects LLP has completed the renovation of the former offices of production company Pathé Films at 103-109 Wardour Street. Overcoming initial specification difficulties, the architect’s practice turned to Allgood to provide a bespoke, bronze finished ironmongery solution that would seamlessly integrate with the architecture of the building.

Junckers Solid Oak Pearl Floor – A Sustainable Choice for New Community & Church Halls
A listed church hall in Burford, Oxfordshire, has been extended and restored in a £3.2 million upgrade by Acanthus Clews Architects. Environmental and financial sustainability were of paramount importance to the church with traditional materials used throughout the building. To fully meet the sustainability criteria, Junckers’ FSC and PEFC accredited solid wood floor were specified for the two hall spaces. The choice fell on grey-tinted Oak Boulevard Golden Pearl floors with a plank width of 185mm to complement the new interior spaces.
