Working with Lacoste
This is our sixth year of producing large format graphics and signage for Lacoste and we have been credited with our help developing and evolving new and existing stores within the UK market and for our continual upkeep of the flagship store in Knightsbridge. There are many challenges that we have overcome, citing one particular install of an Outdoor Triola System where our team installed over 1000 Metres, yes, 1 Kilometre of vinyl in one night and all off a scaffold! This is a perfect example showing our commitment to design, to production and to installation of high quality graphics on time and on budget. Graphica installs at La Vache restaurant in Verbier Switzerland, the new eatery from James Blunt, Carl Fogarty and Lawrence Dallaglio.
Graphica have been very proud to work with James Blunt, Carl Fogarty and Lawrence Dallaglio in their new Restaurant, La Vache in Verbier Switzerland. Not only have the Graphica team produced art work for the café but poignant scenes from each of the three friends' lives have been captured. Join Lawrence Dallaglio on the pitch in Twickenham, wait with Carl Fogarty on the starting grid at Silverstone or walk on stage and face the audience with James Blunt, the choice is yours in this interesting twist to a restroom break! This scheme was designed, printed and produced by Graphica with additional help in sourcing the photography. Our install team went out to Switzerland to ensure that a Graphica standard finish was secured for this exciting project. Graphica produces the new look Caffe Nero Menu Boards
Graphica Display was very happy to run over 700 menu boards for Caffe Nero in a new look "blackboard style" and then cover the implementation and distribution of these units to half of the estate. With careful research and development Graphica found a way of direct to media printing onto pre chalk-board coated materials allowing staff on site to change prices and cutting costs significantly when Nero need to action a price change. The sky’s the limit
Graphica Display were proud to be commissioned by Cardy Construction and Lufthansa to fabricate and install two very large fabric lightboxes at Heathrow Terminal 2 recently. Working closely with the interior architects and the staff from Cardy we constructed boxes that were 12 metres and 5 metres wide but by a staggering 3.5M high. Each was carefully installed in modular units and "daisy chained" to make up the space and then finished with a fully printed single stretched fabric image. All works were installed landside of T2 so Graphica had to satisfy all credentials and carefully prepare Risk Assessments to pass the criteria set on site.All in all we helped create a great effect for not only the reception of the lounge but a calming and quiet space for the VIP Senator Lounge with Lufthansa Business.
Graphica fits Roll to Roll!!
We at Graphica are very excited to fit our Agfa Jeti Mira UV-inkjet printer with a roll to roll unit giving us the versatility to print onto almost any flexible material! This includes fabrics such as canvas and voile, graphic wall, contra-vision, optically clear, front-lit and back-lit fabrics for light boxes and all vinyl options.The full colour plus white on our machine means we have an enormous colour range and can print onto dark and transparent as well as light coloured surfaces. Ink is dried almost immediately by UV light and bonded to the print surface giving a smooth and long-lasting finish.The vast range of substrates that can be printed onto with a flatbed size of 50mm thick by 3190 x 2690 includes wood, Dibond, textiles, ceramics, Perspex, acrylic, Foamex, vinyl, fabrics, paper and card. Telephone Boxes
Earlier this year we were very excited to manufacture and install Telephone boxes for some commercial offices. The telephone boxes were the perfect way to create a space which was functional but still fun and quirky.The telephone boxes were printed on the Agfa Jeti Mira UV-inkjet printers roll to roll. As we used UV inks on the optically clear we layered the inks – colour, white, colour to create a bold and vivid image.Since the initial four telephone boxes we have produced more for several sites across the city.
3D Router Cut Walls From Graphica Display
April 9, 2018In 2015 we introduced the Blackman & White cutter to Graphica Display. The Versa Tech is able to cut heavy duty materials such as acrylics and Dibond and widths up to 3.2m. Recently Graphica Display has been using the UK based cutter for 3D and CNC Milling projects. Typo – Westfield Shephard’s Bush
Typo opened a new store in Westfield Shepherds Bush and Graphica Display printed and installed the Hoarding Graphic. Caffè Nero – OXO Tower
Graphica Display explored new limits of large format printing with the Agfa Jeti Mira UV - Inkjet printer on our recent Caffè Nero project. On a 3 meter solid re-claimed wood surface we printed UV white ink of classic Caffè Nero illustration for the OXO Tower brasserie. Caffe Nero – Wimbeldon Ely
Graphica Display UV printed detail photographs of the production process to create the Caffe Nero signature coffee. Caffe Nero Wimbeldon Ely branch has been working on a refurb and these bold graphic walls added to the space. Graphica Display also installed all of the Graphics in this store. Graphica Display Christmas
To spread Christmas cheer among our friends and clients, we set out to design and produce some festive treats. Two types of boxes were designed, printed, cut and made up in house by our Christmas Elf's. The boxes were then filled with chocolate and gin. New colour forecast From Shaw Contract: colour connect CPD
ColourConnect, Shaw Contract's latest CPD, is an internally researched design forecast that examines the way we absorb and reflect influences from the world, our communities and ourselves through the lens of colour, as we consider how the spaces we create affect the choices we make. The CPD is divided into four “Chapters”— Self, Earth, Creativity and Community.
