Chosen for its similar appearance to the original slate, Glendyne has proved once again to be the ideal, easy-to-source, cost-effective replacement for Welsh Slate.
Hafod Goes Green with Cemwood
Over 1000 planks of Cembrit’s Cemwood have been used on a recently finished housing project for Hafod Housing Association in Bridgend, South Wales. Built to comply with Code Level 4 for Sustainable Homes, the development, Cae Gleision, features thirty one properties in a mixture of houses, flats and bungalows. Cemwood, is used as façade cladding on some properties and helped the project reach Code 4 Status due to it being a long-lasting alternative to traditional timber cladding, offering hard wearing performance and fire resistance.
