Duravit impresses at the iF DESIGN AWARD 2016
Duravit’s outstanding design credentials have been confirmed once again, as four of its products, from among more than 5,000 submissions from 53 countries, received the coveted quality seal. The Cape Cod bathtub, the Stonetto shower tray, the P3 Comforts washbasin and the ME by Starck washbasin were all awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2016 in the “Bathroom” category of the “Product” discipline.

A new building in Stratford has recently been completed by McAleer & Rushe providing comfortable student accommodation. Angel Lane varies from 8 to 14 storeys and comprises around 750 single student bedrooms, including 60 with accessible bathrooms with level access wet rooms. In addition, there are 903 sqm of commercial floor space at ground level, plus communal areas, ancillary store rooms, open space and plant areas.

On The Level first started supplying Voyage Care around 5 years ago after an issue arose around problems with draining water away quickly enough in their current set-up, leading to water draining away from the shower area into the rest of the bathroom.

129 Retro spotlights feature in design of Fischer’s all-day café
Lighting design practice Nulty+ were employed to produce a lighting scheme for Corbin and King restaurant Fischer’s that complimented the Viennese décor of the interiors, while delivering the efficiency and flexibility required by the operators. As part of their intimate lighting scenario, Nulty+ specified 129 spotlights from architectural lighting manufacturer Precision’s Retro range.
