Ericsson Globe, Stockholm
The Ericsson Globe based in Stockholm mimics the look of an igloo and is currently the biggest hemispherical building in the world.
The stadium is constructed using a MERO Space Frame using hollow steel tubes of that are interconnected to create its eye catching design. It has a diameter of 110m and an inner height of 85m yet a smaller audience capacity of only 16,000.
Currently home to Tre Kronor (Sweden's national men's ice hockey team), and the arena has been known to host famous music events such as Eurovision in 2000, 2013 and 2016. The Globe boats a small house on the roof, as well as a railway which allows visitors to enjoy the stunning surrounding views.
