• UK Government website wins 2013 Designs of the Year award

    GOV.UK, the new UK Government website has been named Design of the Year by the Design Museum in London, beating 98 contenders including Thomas Heatherwick’s Olympic cauldron, Renzo Piano’s Shard and a folding wheel by Vitamins.

    BDP has won the competition to design the £23m, 16,000 sq m Cardiff City Centre Community Campus for Cardiff and Vale College. The college is one of the largest in Wales, serving Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, and this project brings together many of the college’s activities on to a single campus in the heart of the city.
