Shaw Contract introduces new styles and colours for its EMEA Kindred collection
02 August 2022Shaw Contract EMEA has added new styles and colours to its carpet tile collection, Kindred. Created by Shaw Contract’s EMEA Design Manager, Kerry Deffley, the new styles, Illusion and Together, create transitions in flooring designs and bring a subtle movement to commercial spaces. Apricot and Rosewood bring a fresh, nature inspired dimension to the colour palette. These colours co-ordinate with Shaw Contract’s other carpet tiles from its Haven collection.

KI furniture helps Crunch Digital reimagine Swansea HQ for hybrid working
26 July 2022As part of their ‘return to the office’ following the COVID-19 pandemic, Crunch Digital, a digital media specialist that focuses on SEO, pay-per-click-social media, programmatic, technical, and creative services, wanted to create a new office space that promoted both safety and collaboration. The design also needed to reflect the ethos and culture of the company and cater to a young and innovative workforce.

Full Mapei system specified at state-of-the-art Berwick Leisure Centre
21 July 2022A full Mapei system has been specified at Berwick Leisure Centre – a new state-of-the-art facility designed by GT3 Architects. Funded by Northumberland County Council and delivered by Advance Northumberland, the £20 million centre is located on the site of the former complex, the Swan Centre, in Tweedmouth. All works were carried by main contractor, Tolent Construction, with Mapei surface preparation, waterproofing and installation products specified by GT3 Architects.

New models, new finishes added to KI’s UK-made Grafton seating collection
21 July 2022The expansion of KI’s Grafton seating collection includes new stool, task stool and sled-base chair options. These new models bring Grafton’s distinctive perforated backrest to additional spaces and applications, joining the existing collection of stacking and task chairs. The collection now includes a total of 7 variants, available in 8 polypropylene colours and 3 powder-coated steel frame finishes. Optional upholstered seat pads can be added to all models.

21 July 2022At the beginning of June, Hacel’s new Solar panel array went online with a peak production capacity of 149 kWp. After being in planning for nearly 9 months and based upon the first few weeks of running, this is providing between 50 and 75% of all our power needs. During June we generated over 20,000 kilowatt hours of power.
