Xeleum introduces Athena series LED stairwell light fixtures

New York-based lighting designing and manufacturing company, Xeleum Lighting, has introduced the new Athena series stairwell LED light fixtures, which are specifically designed to be used in stairwells.

Featuring occupancy sensors, the fixtures are designed to automatically provide 100% light levels only when the space is occupied and dims to a power saving level of approximately 20% when the space is unoccupied. Combined with LED lighting, the Athena Series claims to save upto 85% energy over conventional stairwell fixtures.

The lighting fixture features an in-built emergency battery back-up system which fully integrates the electronics with the lighting and battery systems, achieving far superior overall performance at a cost significantly less than approaches.

The other features of the lighting scheme include vandal-resistant construction and electroluminescent tape recharge capability. Available in two foot and four foot lengths, it is easy to install and provides maintenance-free operation without the need for bulb-changing.

The Athena series stairwell LED light fixture is UL 924 rated, NFPA compliant, FCC certified and in conformance with DOE rulings pertaining to ASHRAE 90.1-2010, Section 9.4.16(g). Its Input power is 30 watts in full-on mode and six watts in dimmed mode.
