Massachusetts–based WS Development has announced plans to construct a new state-of-the-art shopping centre in Cheshire, Connecticut, which is designed to provide an enhanced shopping experience to the customers.

To be located at the I-84/I-691 Interchange in Cheshire along Route 10 in the town’s Interchange Zone, the 500,000 square feet shopping centre is designed as a world-class outlet centre. Upon completion, the new facility will be an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment complex.

It will feature public open space, walkways, recreation amenities, a residential component and full service grocer. Apart from that the complex will house various fashion and designer outlet stores.

The project will incorporate various unique features like a state-of-the-art design with a pedestrian-friendly layout that will function as an open-air streetscape with landscaped courtyards and park-like settings throughout the complex.

Construction on the project is expected to begin in early 2014 with a projected opening of summer 2015.
