Wood Partners begins $45 million multi-family scheme in Massachusetts
US-based residential property developer Wood Partners has commenced construction on a $45 million Alta Legacy Farm, an apartment community in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
The Alta Legacy Farms project involves development of 240 units consisting of one and two bedroom apartments. The scheme includes 156 one-bedroom units that range from 772 to 1,000 square feet, and 84 two-bedroom units that will have an area of circa 1,200 square feet. The scheme will offer 39 one-bedroom and 21 two-bedroom units as affordable housing.
The amenities for the residents will consist of a clubroom, a billiard room, a coffee bar, a media room, a business centre, a cyber-café, a theatre, a fitness centre and a resort-style pool. The development is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
The Alta Legacy Farms forms part of a 730-acre suburban community, which will see the development of 700 single-family and attached homes.
