UK-based Wharfside has presented an egg-shaped Koop chair for office environments, which has been designed by Martela.

Koop chair has been designed for situations when utmost concentration is required amid chaos. Shaped like an egg, the chair resembles a cocoon where one can withdraw to read a magazine, work on laptop or just enjoy a moment of peace.

The cocoon character of Koop chair enables a great sense of visual privacy and creative freedom. Because of its shape the Koop chair also offers a greater level of sound protection than open seating.

The chairs are available in light green, light blue, silver, or white colours. Price for Koop starts at £5,900 ($9324.3) + VAT per chair.
