Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Incorporation is set to debut its Westin brand in the Dominican Republic at the PUNTACANA Resort & Club.

Westin Puntacana Resort will be the second property of Starwood to open in the Dominican Republic. It will house a total of 206 rooms which will include 16 suites. The resort will offer meeting and wedding facilities. There will also be a spacious outdoor pool, poolside grill, and walking trails in the resort.

The facility will comprise a lobby bar, cigar bar, as well as children's club. Further, it will offer a full-service spa, business centre, Westin WORKOUT(R) gym experience, along with various other Westin signature amenities.

The new resort is set to start construction by mid-2012 and is due to open by 2013 end.
