Walmart to open new store in El Paso soon
Walmart is set to open a new store in El Paso, Texas, US on 11 May 2012.
The new facility will sport an upgraded layout to enhance customers' convenience such as lower shelving, as well as directional signage on every aisle. The products most frequently purchased by the customers will be grouped together. The interior of the new building will don a bright colour scheme.
In addition, the property will imbibe a host of eco-friendly elements. It will be equipped with skylights which will harvest daylight reaping daily energy cost cuts of up to 75% for lighting. Energy consumption will be further reduced with installation of LED lighting fixtures which are 70% more efficient as compared to fluorescent lighting systems. The store will also employ measures to cut down the amount of waste, and decrease water usage.
