Walmart opens Yreka store after expansion
Walmart has opened its store at 1906 Fort Jones Road, Yreka, California, US following an expansion.
The store now covers an area of 122,000 square feet. It incorporates an upgraded and open layout with features such as wider aisles, lower shelving throughout, as well as directional signage on every aisle. The products most frequently purchased by the customers have been grouped together to enhance their shopping experience.
The expanded facility consists of a bakery, meat and dairy products, fresh produce and a full liquor department. It also houses departments for apparel and accessories, fabrics, a garden centre, health and beauty aids, and an electronics department. Among its various other features include a pharmacy, digital photo processing centre and Walmart Connect Centre.
