US-based retailer Walmart has opened a new store in Helotes, San Antonio which will provide an enhanced shopping experience to the customers.

Designed as a shopping destination for groceries, other household and entertainment needs, the 152,000 square feet store features general merchandise, including apparel, electronics, and toys, sporting goods and lawn and garden items. It also offers a full line of groceries, including organic and natural selections.

Besides that the new Walmart features a pharmacy, which offers a full range of products and services. Pharmacy team members are well equipped to answer product and prescription questions and offer health and wellness solutions.

The store is also one of the most energy-efficient stores to open in San Antonio. Natural energy and sunlight are used to illuminate the store.

The store is the first Walmart store to be built in seven years in the San Antonio area. The store opened its doors to the customers on 9 April 2013.
