Viktoria Apartments to start construction in April 2012


Construction is set to begin on the Viktoria Apartments multifamily mixed-use project worth about $95 million in Seattle, Washington, US in April 2012.


The project will be designed by Weber Thompson with Turner Construction serving as the general contractor. The development will encompass 24 floors. It will house 37 studios, 176 one-bedroom units, 36 two-bedroom units, street-level retail space spanning 3,690 square feet, as well as 138 parking stalls of above- and below-grade parking.

The property will also accommodate common area including a fitness room, yoga studio, theatre/game room, business centre, lobby, and rooftop deck comprising sky lounge. The facility's lounge will feature a party room, full chef’s working kitchen, bar/pool table space, fireplace lounge, outdoor BBQ grill, and outdoor fireplace.

The design of the residential units will sport a contemporary style contrasted by vintage accents. All the residential units of Viktoria will incorporate expansive window walls, appliances made of steel, granite countertops, hardwood-like flooring, and air-conditioning system. The property will also allow views of Seattle’s downtown skyline, Elliott Bay, Mt. Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges.

Construction funds for the project will be contributed by Washington D.C.-based INDURE Fund. Work is due to be over by 2013 end.
