Upgraded New Castle Branch Library to reopen on 14 April 2012
The New Castle Branch Library in Colorado, US is set to reopen on 14 April 2012 after a facelift.
The facility will comprise a fireplace and cozy reading area facing Main Street following the makeover. It will now also sport a local history room consisting of collections of books, pictures and artifacts from the town's past. The renovated building will further feature a new space dedicated for teenagers fitted with stylish seating facilities, and a new interactive area for children.
The project will lead to the creation of an expanded zone for computers, and a new community room. The look will be complemented by installation of old photos from the area on the walls, as well as a window photo mural along Fourth Street.
