Tysons Corner Marriott hotel opens new American restaurant
Tysons Corner Marriott hotel in Virginia, US has opened a new American restaurant named Shutters Bar & Kitchen, which is an integral part of the newly updated Marriott Hotels & Resorts Greatroom.
Designed by Washington-based architecture firm CORE, the new 146-seat restaurant offers a fresh dining experience that embraces the culinary treasures of Virginia and the Chesapeake region. Shutters Bar & Kitchen is named for the shutters that are a highlight of the stylish architecture.

A bar made of amber recycled glass, communal seating, cozy booths and tables and an area to play shuffleboard makes the place suitable for friendly gatherings, intimate dinners and business networking.
The new restaurant also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and modern furnishings, including a communal tech table, to provide an efficient transition between lobby and restaurant.
Shutters Bar & Kitchen menu features shareable appetizers, crisp salads and creative entrées and sandwiches crafted by chef Jeff Murray. Besides authentic root beer and whiskey from regional distilleries, the restaurant also offers appetizers.
