Tricorp Hearn Construction commences work on Foothill Farms Apartments
California-based firm Tricorp Hearn Construction has commenced work on a $26 million senior rental apartment community in Sacramento, California, named Foothill Farms Apartments.
The new apartment, consisting of a total of 138 units, has been designed by Kuchman Architects. It will be dedicated to seniors having 30%-50% of the area’s median income. The new facility will be equipped with laundry rooms, meeting rooms for the apartment residents as well as offices for the management. There will be a community club house covering an area of 4020 square feet. The club house will comprise a lounge.
The community will also incorporate a host of outdoor common spaces. It includes a pool and spa zone featuring a spacious patio, community gardens, a bocce court, and various sitting areas inside a landscaped courtyard.
The project has been funded by Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. Work is slated for completion by April 2012.
