Tribal Government Centre Complex to complete construction soon
KCM Group has reached the final construction phase of the new $4.6 million Tribal Government Centre Complex for the Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians in the US.
The complex substitutes the existing government building which is being demolished to allow road and infrastructure improvements. It will house a pair of buildings spanning over a total area of 15,000 square feet. The buildings will comprise Tribal Council offices, Tribal Council Chambers, legal and administrative offices, offices for Tribal development, accounting, as well as support services.
The new property will also consist of a parking lot, extensive landscaping, new underground utilities and infrastructure. The main building will feature an entryway adorned with stone columns and classic pediment. Its lobby will incorporate custom tile flooring as well as custom Japanese cherry millwork. In addition, the property will imbibe a host of green elements.
The facility is due to be over and ready to be occupied by early 2012.
