Trend GB adds Peocock and Gardenia range to Best Collection glass mosaics
British mosaic tile manufacturer and distributor Trend GB has added the new Peocock and Gardenia range to the Best Collection of glass mosaics, which are designed by the artist Veronica Tommasin.
Translating Tommasin’s designs into the decorative mosaic modules by using digital technology, Trend GB has produced two new fused glass tiles - Brillante 276 and Brillante 277.
Inspired by the peacock motif that dates back to ancient Greek and Roman mosaics, Best Collection includes the new Peacock, a Peacock White variation, and a floral motif, Gardenia.
Used for centuries as a symbol of wealth, beauty, royalty and rebirth, the peacock with a floral motif has been depicted beautifully in the Best Collection of mosaics. It incorporates five different 1 x 1 tile colours and is supplied in modules of 105cm x 158cm in size for combining into murals or using as mosaic panels.
Providing a more modern, oriental decorative treatment, the Peacock White incorporates a similar design in three tile colours - Brillante 280 white and Brillante 275 and 277 tones of blue. It is available in 105cm x 158cm standard module size.
Emerging from the background colour, the Gardenia range features a simple flower motif. It has used 17 different Vitreo and Brillante designs to bring out the final product.
Measuring 158cm x 158cm, each Gardenia mosaic module contains nearly 25,000 individual tiles. With an elegant finish, the Gardenia mosaics are comparatively quick and easy to install. The price for the latest additions to the Best Collection suite starts from £490 per square metre.
Created with long-lasting qualities of authentic glass mosaic, including resistance to heat, burns, sunlight, frost, water and chemicals, the Best Collection mosaics are suitable for use in living rooms, dining areas, hallways and kitchens.
Committed to sustainability, the 4mm thick Vitreo and Brillante tiles are made using up to 59% post-consumer recycled glass, combining a classic tradition with modern eco-friendly technology.
