TOTO to exhibit NEOREST SE Bath at London Design Fest
Japanese bathroom manufacturer TOTO will exhibit the new NEOREST SE Bath designed for a therapeutic spa experience at London Design Festival from 17–21 September 2012.
Available in one person and two-person version, TOTO features the hydrohands
technology, which softly stimulates and massages below the water line with submerged jets of water. The calibrated, directional nozzles use the natural pressure of water to produce a therapeutic spiraling motion to make the massage responsive as if delivered by human hands.
The integrated faucet of the SE Bath recycles water from the bathtub to keep the shoulders warm and relaxed. Water temperature and pressure are controlled by SMA computer system that eliminates fluctuations caused by water use.
The bath features LED lighting schemes, which offers 10 cool and warm colours with the option to choose all ten in sequence or select constant cool or warm modes. The LED lighting schemes can be programmed to emit an underwater glow. It also features a built-in head rest (two for the dual bath) to lie back.
The LCD control panel with audio response (in six languages) is also featured in the bath, which can sit alongside the bath or can be wall mounted. This makes it easy to modify the temperature, flow rate and volume of water at the touch of a button. The temperature and pressure are kept at a constant by TOTO’s SMA intelligent computer controlled system. An in-built memory allows it to save the preferences for next time with pre-programmed temperature and water depth.
The air jets are adjustable in five steps from soft to strong and there is a warm-up mode for the shoulder massage, which controls and sets the temperature before it touches the body.
The SE bath also features NEOREST furniture with integrated lighting. The furniture comes in a high-gloss black or white lacquer finish that co-ordinates with TOTO’s MH range of flexible bathroom furniture. The SE bath also includes NEOREST SEfixtures and fittings like intimate cleansing Washlet WC and a basin with matching integrated waterfall faucet.
