The Shard gets the view ready
Renzo Piano’s London skyscraper landmark The Shard is set to open its visitor experience on 1 February.
Designed by Event Communications, The View From The Shard will bring the city's past, present and future to life in multimedia displays and installations panel. Previous exhibition projects worked on by Event Communications include Titanic Belfast and the Darwin Centre for the Natural History Museum.
For visitors to The Shard's viewing floor at level 69 - with the highest public floor at level 72, 244m above ground level and exposed to the elements - digital Tell:scopes are being made available in Europe for the first time. These digital telescopes with large touchscreens enable users to explore the city around them in realtime, as well as offering alternative, pre-recorded day and night-time views.
