The Interiors Group fit out LivingSocial office in UK
The Interiors Group have fitted out and renovated new offices for LivingSocial at their new West End London headquarters in the UK.
The facility now sports different quirky areas with a functional office space. The first floor of the building comprises the sophisticated-styled reception leading to the funky meeting rooms and breakout space. Artificial grass, stylised clouds, fuzzy pink carpet, and graphics serve as the predominant design features in the client meeting rooms. The boardroom is adorned with a reclaimed corian table and a bold graphic of a world map.
The facility's second storey mainly houses office space donning an open-plan concept. The area features a training area styled like a school room, kitchen area, along with breakout space bearing a picnic theme. The training room includes the Institute of Whaleology equipped with classroom seating, a rustic oak effect vinyl floor, a vintage teachers desk, and chair with a backdrop of a chalkboard. The playful tone has been enhanced with incorporation of a beach area adorned with palm trees and beach lounge chairs, and a dance machine.
The Interiors Group has relocated current glass partitions and included them in the design when needed, hence offering the project a carbon neutral status. The design also led to installation of bold graphics. The entire project was a collaborative effort between Interiors Group, Living Social HQ, and Aztec Group.
