Tarun Tahiliani opens first boutique in Hyderabad
Renowned Indian fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani has opened his first boutique named 'The Tarun Tahiliani boutique' in the south Indian city of Hyderabad.
Designed by Tarun Tahiliani and Delhi based ShachiAtree, the new boutique is located at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The design of the store as well as the collection is inspired by the vintage charm of Hyderabad.
The store includes a long narrow hallway leading into an atrium which is decorated with inset hand-knotted carpets, wooden textures and Osler chandeliers. This exudes the feel of an old world house.
The boutique offers the complete Tarun Tahiliani collection, which includes chikankari saris, masterful drapes, concept saris, anarkalis, lehengas, sherwanis and digital prints. Offering classic embroidered ensembles with chikankari, gota, resham and Swarovski in bridal wear, the store will appeal both ready-to-be brides and bridegrooms.
The store opened on 23 August 2012.
