Studio 54 founder Ian Schrager to speak at The Sleep Event


Ian Schrager, one of the founders of iconic New York nightclub Studio 54 tops the bill at the hospitality trade show this year


Schrager, who is also credited with inventing the concept of the boutique hotel in the 1980s, will join conference moderator Guy Dittrich at the event, which takes place at the The Business Design Centre in London next month, to talk about his contribution to the hotel and leisure industry, as well as his latest opening the Edition hotel in London's Fiztrovia, Schrager will also accept the Outstanding Contribution Award at the European Hotel Design Awards, which take place at The Sleep Event.

Other speakers include Inge Moore of HBA London, Chris Boulton of Yoo and Arlett Oehichen of HVS who will discuss the influence of high-end residential and retail design on the luxury hospitality sector.

The Sleep Event is on at The Business Design Centre, London, 20 and 21 November
