Steve Leung teams up with Neutra to create Inkstone vanity line
Architect and interior designer Steve Leung has come up with his first vanity collection named Inkstone, in association with Italian sanitary ware brand Neutra.
Chinese ink stones serve as the inspiration behind the creation of the new line. The range fuses Chinese heritage and ancient well-being philosophies and sports an understated design.
The collection adapts the tone, shape, as well as texture of the ink stone. The basins of the collection are characterised by a simple look, sophisticated detailing, and minimal decoration. The elegant craftsmanship of Neutra helps illustrate the natural texture and beauty of stones. The look is accentuated by integrating the art of calligraphy into the design.
The collection has been presented at the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair held in Italy.
