Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Incorporation is set to open its first dual-branded ski resort complex named The Westin Changbaishan and Sheraton Changbaishan Resort in Changbaishan, China in August 2012.

The Westin Changbaishan Resort will house a total of 257 guestrooms sporting the Westin Heavenly Bed with lush sheets, down cushioning and a patented pillow-top mattress. The rooms will also imbibe an ergonomic work area and will offer internet access. The property will further incorporate the Heavenly Bath with the brand’s Heavenly Shower, and bath amenities from White Tea Aloe. Among other features of the resort include dining space, a Westin Kids Club, Heavenly Spa, as well as an indoor swimming pool.

Sheraton Changbaishan Resort will consists of 296 guest rooms and suites offering mountain or ski views. Each guestroom of the facility will be fitted with a large work desk, custom-designed ergonomic chair, LCD flat panel TV, MP3 docking station, and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed donning a white tone. The rooms will also provide internet access.

Further, the property will feature the Sheraton Club lounge and Sheraton Club rooms, while its lobby will incorporate the Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft. It will comprise a restaurant and lounge, spa, indoor heated swimming pool, and fully equipped fitness facility offering the brand’s new health and fitness programme, Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance.

In addition, the complex will consist of advanced meeting area spanning over 37,000 square feet. It will include a 13,362 square feet ballroom, and a large pre-function space.
