St. Andrews Country Club starts major upgrades
St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida, US has embarked on a $15 million construction improvement plan.
The project will be carried out in three phases. Work will involve an overhaul of the club's various areas such as the clubhouse, two restaurants, main entry features and landscaping, as well as the recreation and aquatic centre.
The first phase of the project will involve the clubhouse front entrance landscaping and lighting. It will also include improvements to the facility's Olde Course bunkers, the men's card room, and locker rooms for men and women.
Phase II will include recreation and aquatic centre and major clubhouse refurbishments. There will also be a revamp of the dining and lounge areas during the phase. This phase is expected to begin by April 2013.
The project's third phase, due to commence by June 2014, will encompass functional and practical upgrades to the Lakeside, a free-standing dining and entertainment facility.
The project is slated to be fully over by November 2014.
