Splinter Works launches Stiletto table
UK-based Splinter Works has launched a table named Stiletto.
The furniture, characterised by sophisticated lines and curves, draws reference to the stiletto footwear. One of the feet of the table sports a style resembling high-heels. This leg is hand-sculpted in solid stacked walnut. The underside of the piece is made of heavily dyed bird's eye maple donning a polished red acrylic finish. The design is reminiscent of the signature red-soled high heel shoes of Christian Louboutin.
The table top offers options of finishes in inlaid leather or French Burr walnut veneer. It is also fitted with integrated drawers lined with nubuck leather interiors. Absence of handles or any other hardware in the exterior of the drawers creates an organised look. Stiletto's standard measurements are 770mm height, 2300mm length, and 820mm width. It can also be custom-tailored in different sizes and finishes. The piece can be used as a desk, console table, or a dressing table.
