Upscale hospitality brand Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has opened a new hotel, named as Royal Sonesta Hotel & Casino Panama, which is the brand’s first hotel in Panama.

Located in the business district of Panama City, the hotel features 304 upscale guest rooms. The design of the hotel pays homage to Panamanian culture.

Inspired from the local wildlife and traditions, the hotel features two restaurants, bar and sushi bar. To provide a more luxury staying experience to the guests, the hotel also features a fitness centre, sauna, Turkish bath, spa, beauty centre, and business centre.

Besides these luxury amenities, the hotel will also open a new casino and a rooftop swimming pool in the later part of 2013.
