Sonesta International Hotels makes a debut in Texas
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has announced its first hotel in Texas, US named Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston.
The facility is situated in the Houston Galleria area and in close proximity to the Museum and Theater districts. The new contemporary-styled hotel is a AAA approved Four Diamond facility. It houses a total of 485 rooms encompassing 23 floors.
Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston consists of function space which covers an area of 50,000 square feet. Among the various other features of the hotel include a swimming pool, a 24/7 health club, as well as a host of dining options.
The property is at present branded as the Intercontinental Hotel Houston. It is slated to come under Sonesta management on 16 July 2012.
