Karndean Designflooring, the luxury flooring company, has launched a brand new resin-free, wet-bed, high-temperature universal dispersion adhesive for luxury vinyl tiles (LVT). ‘Karndean Universal Adhesive’ has excellent product ‘grab’ with good working time and helps make installations more efficient by reducing the need to carry multiple adhesives. It’s solvent free, odourless and has low emissions of VOCs.

With a good working time and excellent product ‘grab’, Karndean Universal Adhesive helps make installations more efficient by reducing the need to carry multiple adhesives. Paul Barratt, Commercial Sales Director for Karndean Designflooring, comments: “We’re always looking for ways to improve the installation of LVT floor coverings and our new adhesive is a big step forward. It’s solvent free, odourless and has low emissions of VOCs, making it ideal for both domestic and commercial installations. “The fibre reinforced structure and high level of shear resistance reduces residual indentation, open joints and peaking as well as giving you an extended working time in which to achieve that professional finish.” Karndean Universal Adhesive is available in five and 15 litre tubs and is suitable for a variety of environments from domestic to heavy wear commercial settings. It meets the EN criteria for applications where castor chairs are used and is compatible with absorbent floors with underfloor heating.
