Sheraton opens Sheraton Tampa East Hotel
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Incorporated has opened Sheraton Tampa East Hotel in Tampa, which marks the brand's fourth hotel in the region.
Located across the street from Sabal Park Business Center and within five miles from the Tampa Convention Center and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, the hotel was formerly Crowne Plaza hotel. The hotel underwent a $9 million renovation scheme, which has brought the hotel in-line with Starwood standards.
The project has renovated all the 265 guest rooms of the hotel. The renovated guestrooms are equipped with work desk, custom-designed chair, high-speed Internet, LCD flat panel television, MP3 docking station and the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows, and private balcony or patio, which are accessible from the rooms by means of sliding doors.
The newly renovated 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space at Sheraton Tampa East Hotel includes a 5,000 square feet ballroom and a poolside pavilion for cocktail receptions. The hotel also features fully renovated full-service restaurant Panfilio's Bar and Grille, which serves American cusine and has a casual setting.
The other amenities include Sheraton Club Lounge, an outdoor heated pool and upgraded fitness facility featuring new health and fitness program.
