Shadow chair collection by Duffy London
UK-based design firm Duffy London has created a new chair collection called the Shadow that creates an illusion of defying gravity.
The Shadow stands out for its unique design. The chair, at first instance, gives an impression of standing on two legs with a shadow. Closer inspection reveals that the shadow is an integral part of the cantilevered support structure and aids in stabilising the chair.
The Shadow collection is available in a variety of finishes and colours. The chair is also available in walnut veneer wood, which is procured from Forest Stewardship Council managed forests and other controlled sources.
Duffy London has created the chair using powdered coated mild steel. The chairs are 85cm high, 45cm wide and 60cm deep.
