Seung Yong Song creates Dami furniture and lighting line
Korean designer Seung Yong Song has come up with the new Dami furniture and lighting unit series.
The name of the collection is derived from a Korean verb which means put in. The furniture and lighting pieces consist of baskets forms and covers. The baskets are available in a wide array of shapes and dimensions and serve multiple uses. All the items of the range incorporate a conventional Korean grille design, which makes them light as well as sturdy.
The range has been created from a sustainable material known as Valchromat with the help of CNC processing technique. Valchromat is a coloured wood fiber board. The wood is sourced from forest waste, residue from timber mills and reclaimed pine.
