Texas-based Scott & White Healthcare will open Scott & White Emergency Hospital at Cedar Park, which will be the first community-based hospital in Central Texas providing advanced emergency medical and inpatient care.

Located at 900 E. Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park, the new emergency facility is designed to provide a highly efficient, patient-centered experience.

In order to cater to the medical needs of the patients of the area, the facility will have an emergency department with seven beds, diagnostic imaging including X-ray, a CT scanner and ultrasound, and a laboratory. In addition to that it will also feature an eight-bed inpatient unit for those requiring an admission for additional medical services.

Scheduled to open on 27 February 2013, Scott & White Emergency Hospital will offer patient-centric emergency medical and inpatient care in the most innovative way.
