Scoope Design launches new light called Tilta

Brooklyn-based design studio Scoope Design has launched a new light called Tilta Lamp.

The lamp is available in both pedestal and reading lamp size. The lamp has concrete base, which has 360 degrees rotation capability. The lamp can rest on any of its octagonal shaped sides that produces a 30 degree angle for each surface. The lamp uses a simple mechanism which uses gravitational force along with its own weight to control.

The metal part on top of the bulb serves as a handle for tilting the lamp. The materials used in the lamp include concrete, wood, glass and aluminum. The suspended dimension of the lamp, helps it break away from the conventional design of the lamps, by adding an unconventional third dimension to the lighting system.
