The Rezidor Hotel Group, a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, has announced plans for the Radisson Blu Hotel, Chisinau in Moldova.

Rezidor Group has acquired an old hotel and plans to convert it into a Radisson Blu branded hotel. The new Radisson Blu Hotel, Chisinau will be the first international branded hotel in the Chisinau. The hotel will offer access to both leisure as well as business travelers to tourist attractions and office buildings.

The company said that the existing hotel will undergo an extensive renovation, which will bring the hotel in-line with the offerings of a Radisson-branded hotel. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Chisinau will offer 145 rooms and suites with Radisson Blu signature services and free high speed internet access, one restaurant, two bars, as well as a wellness centre. A 600 square meters of meeting and conference space is also featured.

The all-new Radisson Blu Hotel, Chisinau is scheduled to open in 2013.
