Reuters’ Paris HQ gets HI-MACS coverage
Situated in a Haussman building in the French capital, the Reuters HQ has had a major refurbishment with Hi-MACS featuring predominantly, sourced by 16k architectes for the new reception desk and seating pods in the waiting area (pictured).
One of the main requirements of the project was the use of durable and specifically fire-resistant materials, which solid surface material Hi-MACS with its non-flammable M1 classification was perfectly suited to.
The architects were attracted to its thermoformability, enabling the creation of unique shapes. The seating pods, placed in a space with an Oriental Thirties' style, have been designed in voluptuous and soft shapes to make the space convivial. Incorporated into the pods' design are planters for palm trees to add landscaping to the space.
