Refurbishment for a North London theatre
The London-based interior design agency Ranne Creative Interiors has created a new office and rehearsal environment for the Almeida Theatre in Islington.
The theatre required a space that spoke directly to its creative perspective and created a playful yet professional environment encouraging creativity and unorthodox thought.
Affordable furniture and decorations were key to the project while the refurbishment took place with the organisation still open for business as usual, creating an out of the ordinary experience for the design team at Ranne. "Our typical project involves working with corporates so it was an exciting challenge to work with such a different type of organisation," said Roy Parrish, managing director of Ranne.
In addition, Ranne is supporting the Almeida Theatre as part of its corporate social responsibility activities by sponsoring a performance of King Lear on 1 November. The company is also donating towards the theatre's forthcoming production of The Serpent's Tooth.
