Radisson Blu Hamburg, a 4-star hotel in Germany, has installed new enamelled shower surfaces from Kaldewei by replacing 252 tiled showers, which forms part of the hotel’s two-year renovation programme.

For tackling the problem of black spots and trickling of water into the floor underneath, Radisson Blu Hamburg renovated 252 tiled shower areas to guarantee a reliable solution. To maintain hygiene and reliability, all the tiled shower areas in the hotel have been upgraded with high quality, durable and easy-to-clean Kaldewei Conoflat steel enamel 3.5mm.

The Kaldewei Conoflat steel enamel 3.5mm claims to be scratch-resistant and features a pore-free surface. The surface without tile grout provides lasting good looks and also claims to improve hygiene properties. It is also easy to install and easy to replace, featuring a flexible installation frame system.

Located near the river Alster, the Radisson Blu Hamburg is a 556-room and suites hotel, which is designed to provide upscale accommodation to tourists and business travelers. After radical renovations between October 2008 and September 2009 by the Swedish interior designer Christian Lundwall, the hotel now offers attractive rooms in three styles like Natural with light wood and soft cream colours, Urban in a metropolitan style, and New York Mansion in a comfortable lounge ambiance. Other areas of renovation included the lobby, restaurants and wellness centre.
