Princess Yachts launches 40m Imperial Princess super-yacht
UK-based shipyard Princess Yachts has launched the 40-metre super-yacht Imperial Princess.
The interior of the vessel has been designed by the yard's in-house team, in association with London-based studio of Bannenberg & Rowell. The super-yacht comprises five guest cabins including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, two VIP cabins, and two twins with Pullmans positioned on the lower deck. The guest cabins have a capacity to house an overall 12. The yacht also features separate accommodation for up to eight crew members.
Horizontal-grained satin walnut bulkheads, wenge flooring on the main deck, and sky deck's walnut flooring serve as some of the predominant design features of the vessel. The look is complemented by a full-height, etched-metal mural by Christofle in its dining room, and an abstract created from hand-painted and lacquered panels positioned on the forward bulkhead of its sky lounge.
The yacht sports a grey-toned hull, hard top, and mast which is contrasted by its white superstructure. It is powered by a pair of MTU diesel engines which help it operate at a top speed of 22 knots.
