Prandina launches blown glass pendants
Italian brand Prandina has come up with various new pendant lamps.
They include Tiara, Gong, Bloom and Chorus, all of which are pendant lamps in blown glass.
The diffuser of Gong is a cocoon made of blown glass. It is internally etched and with almost its entire exterior being painted. It is transparent downwards and sports a metallic structure in matt white tone with central or side ceiling rose. Its blown crystal glass diffuser comprises external engravings and offers options of different colour combinations like white-white, ivoy-ivory, ivoy-white, balck-black or black-aubergine.
Tiara dons an elegant style. The bottom portion of the diffuser features a slightly truncated cone shape on which sits a perfectly circular shape. The seamlessness between the two varied shapes is segregated by a line of light.
Bloom incorporates a mysterious shape. It offers up and down lighting and generates a diffused light.
Chorus is characterised by subtle angles on a cylindrical shape. The shape of the luminaire appears to provide a different look on the basis of the viewing angle.
All the lamps have been showcased at Light & Building 2012 fair held in Germany.
