Phillips Collection, Roger Thomas collaborate for The Roger Thomas Collection
Phillips Collection, a US-based manufacturer of high-end contemporary furnishings, has entered into a contract with hotel and furniture designer Roger Thomas for his licensed collection of products.
Under the terms of the contract, Phillips Collection will expand the current offerings of The Roger Thomas Collection, which consist of signature designs of mirrors, furniture, carpet, green sustainable lighting, and outdoor furnishings. The deal is likely to benefit Phillips Collection as it will enable it to leverage the unique designing potential of the designer, which will be reflected in the design of its products.
Both, the company and designer, are working on sculptural forms, wall décor, vessels and containers, and accessories for indoor and outdoor settings; which will form part of the new collection. Phillips Collection plans to debut The Roger Thomas Collection in 2013.
The existing Roger Thomas Collection includes signature designs and products for APF Master Framemakers, Boyd Lighting, Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman, Fromental, Rocky Mountain Hardware, Samuel and Sons Passementerie, Townsend Leather, Veneman, Koroseal, S. Harris, Maya Romanoff, SICIS and the new Phillips Collection.
