Park Hyatt hotel opens in Hyderabad
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened the first city Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad, India.
The new hotel, designed by architecture firm John Portman & Associates, covers eight floors. It houses 185 guestrooms and 24 suites. It is also the first hotel in the city to comprise 42 fully serviced luxury apartments branded The Residence located on its two topmost levels. The building features a Madurai granite cladding. Its facade has been fitted with large glass doors windows. The porte-cochere of the sports a shimmering steel mesh ceiling fixture. The lobby of the hotel dons water features and plants encompassing the hotel's white, abstract sculpture measuring 35 feet in height.
The interiors of the hotel, incorporating a contemporary style, have been designed by the international design team Hirsch Bedner Associates. They are adorned in Indian motifs drawing reference to henna patterns. The look in the interiros is complemented by use of silk and vibrant shades.
The guestrooms have dimensions of a minimum of 463 square feet and don soft, neutral earthy shades with the furnishings featuring silver and green hues. Installation of large glass windows will offer natural light penetration inside the rooms. All the rooms have also been equipped with large work desks, easy-to-use in-room technology, ample electrical outlets and light fixtures, and luxurious spa-style bathrooms. The bathrooms comprise large free-standing bathtubs and Miller Harris amenities.
The restaurants of the hotel comprise interactive show kitchens. It includes the Tre-Forni restaurant which features communal traditional Italian-style dining and a private dining room. The restaurant sports muted earth shades, dark polished hardwood floors, and hand carved Italianate tiles. Other food outlets include the formal Dining Room, The Living Room, and Oriental Bar and Kitchen.
The property also features the Spa and Fitness Center comprising a Swedish sauna, steam room, and beauty salon. It also consists of a fitness center with a temperature-controlled swimming pool and advanced gym and cardio equipment.
The hotel offers over 17,000 square feet of meeting and events facilities with a separate entryway and large parking lot. The facilities include a pillar-less ballroom which can be segregated into three different spaces, a pre-function spaces, and seven meeting rooms. All these facilities have been fitted with advanced technology, audiovisual systems, and offer internet access.
The apartments of the facility are roomy and bright sporting high ceilings. They comprise one, two and three bedrooms ranging in size between 927 and 2,317 square feet. The units have been equipped with hardwood floors, kitchens with latest appliances like Michelangelo Marble kitchen countertops, large work desks and walk-in closets, and modern bathrooms with soaking tubs and rain showers. The apartments also provide wireless internet service.
