Palms Casino Resort embarks on $50 million renovation project

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada has embarked on a $50 million renovation project to redesign the guestrooms and the layout of the casino to enhance guest experience.

The project revolves around adding a chic flavour to the resort, which will set a sensual and edgy mood of the resort. Designed by Klai Juba, all the 428 guestrooms will be updated to add a contemporary design element. The rooms will feature horizontal lines, warm wood tones and vibrant luxe velvets. The rooms will boast custom artwork that will be in sync with the overall atmosphere of the resort.

The first set of rooms will be completed by September 2012. The layout of the casino will be retrofitted to maximize flow and ambiance. The interiors will undergo change and more than 250 new slot machines will be added to the casino. Plans also involve renovation of the Center Bar of the casino.

The project will also bring several popular restaurants to the casino resort, which include Simon Restaurant & Lounge, N9NE Steakhouse and Nove Italiano and Heraea, a sports-themed restaurant and lounge, which is scheduled for opening by 2012 end. The new food destination will be built at the site which is currently occupied by Garduno's.

Work on the site is scheduled to begin in July 2012, with completion scheduled for 2013.
